About
Charlie Longoria

For contemporary artist Charlie Longoria, art has never been a hobby or a profession; it has always been a reality. Long before he became known for his signature style and storytelling approach, he was immersed in the world of art through his mother who moved in creative and social circles.

Charlie's breakthrough didn’t happen in a classroom painting bowls of fruit, in fact, that’s why he avoided art initially. It happened when he stopped trying to paint what he was told and started painting what he felt.

This, combined with being exposed to artists like Andy Warhol and cultural figures early led to art becoming something personal, something lived. The result is a blend of expressive composition and contemporary pop influence that captures memories and personal narratives.

Today, the Los Angeles–based contemporary artist works with collectors and private clients to create one-of-a-kind personal pieces and commissioned paintings for clients who want to turn memories into artwork.
